Family Support

At OneFamily, no family is expected to go through tragedy alone.

In the days following an attack, OneFamily case workers begin working closely with families, helping them through one of the hardest and most overwhelming times in their lives. As families begin rebuilding their lives, OneFamily continues walking beside them long after the immediate crisis has passed.

Case workers build close and personal relationships with each family. They offer emotional support, practical help, and a steady presence families can lean on when even everyday life suddenly feels overwhelming. They help families through the everyday challenges that follow tragedy, from medical care and schools to financial concerns, housing, employment, and the many small things that can suddenly become difficult to manage.

Every family, and every person within a family, experiences trauma and grief differently. Case workers take the time to understand what each person is going through and what kind of support they need, knowing there is no single path through loss or rebuilding. Families are never seen as cases or numbers, but as people, each with their own story, needs, and path forward.

Over time, these relationships become deeply meaningful. Case workers stand beside families during moments of loss and remembrance, but also celebrate with them through birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, and other important milestones. For many families, these relationships become a lasting part of their lives.

OneFamily creates a broader sense of family through retreats, camps, support groups, and shared programs that bring families together with others who truly understand their journey. In these spaces, families find comfort, friendship, understanding, and ongoing support that often continues long after the programs themselves end.

At OneFamily, support does not end when the immediate crisis passes. We remain beside families for as long as they need us.

Our name is our mission. We are OneFamily.
