Therapeutic Retreats

OneFamily’s Therapeutic Retreats are designed to aid and support those who have experienced trauma or psychological stress as a result of terrorist activities. Participants receive tools and strategies to cope with trauma and strengthen their ability to deal with challenging situations and return to normal life.

The Therapeutic Retreat combines healing with leisure and personal development and is a process intended to help survivors cope with trauma and build tools and strategies to deal with the difficult experiences they have been through.

We tailor the Therapeutic Retreat to treat the individual needs of each participant with a variety of activities such as psychotherapy, yoga, meditation, horseback riding therapy, creative workshops, and more. Our flexibility allows participants to identify and address their individual needs and, thereby, build new social connections with those who have experienced similar life-changing events.

A Therapeutic Retreat provides significant benefits for terror survivors. Within the retreat’s framework, professional treatment and diverse activities assist terror survivors in their recovery from trauma and in regaining their strength.

A retreat also includes diverse recreational and personal development activities, such as nature excursions, creative workshops, sports clubs, and more. These activities are designed to help survivors connect with nature and create experiences that will assist them in coping with trauma and restoring optimism and happiness to their lives.
