Kadima MK Yoel Hasson Visits OneFamily’s Jerusalem Center, Shows Support for Our Work with Terror Victims
MK Yoel Hasson with OneFamily Co-Chair Chantal Belzberg at OneFamly’s Jerusalem Center
MK Yoel Hasson, Kadima’s International Representative and the youngest member of Knesset visited OneFamily’s Jerusalem Center recently to spend time with victims of terror and see how OneFamily is working to rebuild their shattered lives. MK Hasson spoke with bereaved parents who meet once a week at our Jerusalem Center for a Parashat HaShavua class, and a group of women busy working on paintings for their OneFamily art workshop. He also listened to staff member Dina Kit describe the tragedy of losing two sons – one to cancer and the other to terror. Dina explained how nearly every moment of her life since then has been a struggle, but in OneFamily she has found a support network that helps her keep going.
The evening MK Hasson spent with us gave him a clear picture of the amazing work we do every day with Israel’s victims of terror. After his visit he sent us the following note:

Dear Chantal Belzberg, Co-Chair of the One Family Fund,
I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful time I spent with you and your staff last week at One Family Fund. Speaking with you, seeing the videos, meeting some of your “family”, and seeing the facility gave me a real sense of what One Family Fund is all about. I greatly admire the work that you do, and am extremely impressed with the results that you achieve. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to be helpful to your efforts in the future.
